In anticipation of an upcoming grant-funded project focusing on the inclusion of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) children in the Jordanian education system , the Health Care Accreditation  Council (HCAC) , Jordan’s Quality and Patient Safety non-profit institution is seeking to recruit qualified candidates to fill multiple positions.

1- Project Manager

 

The project manager will be responsible for timely and effective planning and execution of the project, technical support and leadership , donor relations, partnerships and coordination, and supervision and teamwork related to this project as outlined below.

 

• Managing and coordinating the implementation of the respective activities based on the project overall plans including the monitoring and evaluation plans and advocacy plan.
• Managing project relevant stakeholders and ensuring effective communication channels.
• Providing the supervision and guidance of other project staff, consultants and experts with a view to achieving project results according to action plan and budget.
• Developing comprehensive and detailed project work-plans that include all project activities and roles and responsibilities of the stakeholders and setting-out corresponding milestones.
• Monitoring the progress of implementation of project activities including monitoring and effective utilization of financial resources.
• Ensuring adherence of project activities to the existing financial, procurement and administrative processes that are in line with the donors rules and regulations.
• Preparing project progress reports and ensuring timely submission of the reports to the relevant donors.
• Ensuring the complete documentation of all project respective activities.
• Provide on-job capacity building and coaching, as per project requirements.
• Managing the transfer of project deliverables to national beneficiaries and other project stakeholders.

 

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant social or health care fields or equivalent field experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in project management position preferably in an international organization.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset

 

• Project planning, implementation monitoring, training, reporting, donor compliance and team management
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required

2- Guidelines Development Officer

 

The guidelines development officer will be responsible for timely and effective planning and execution of the guidelines development process , effective resource utilization, partnerships and coordination with relevant technical stakeholders, and supervision and teamwork with the subject matter experts.

 

• Conduct desktop research for the national and the international Autism Spectrum Disorder “ASD” best practices and norms.
• Ensure the guidelines for delivery of services to ASD children are consistent with applicable laws and regulations and the rights-based approach.
• Coordinate and monitor all activities related to the guidelines development including guidelines review workshops, focus group meetings, field testing, dissemination workshops, etc.
• Ensure consultation with all relevant stakeholders to get their input during the guidelines development activities.
• Maintain regular communication and engagement of national and international counterparts, consultants and experts and ensuring quality and timely delivery of all agreed outputs.
• Prepare reports related to guidelines development activities and ensure timely submission of the reports to the relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure the complete documentation of all guidelines development respective activities.
• Report on data on a regular basis to measure achievement against the performance indicators.

 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in social sciences, social work, health care, or other related field.
• At least two years of demonstrated experience in national and international guidelines and best practices.
• Experience in conducting participatory workshops and consultative meetings.

3- Training and Events Officer

 

The training and events officer will be responsible for timely and effective execution of the training, events, and administrative activities under the project, including support of project monitoring, document management, and reporting.

 

• Coordinate and support the design, development, and delivery of training activities under the project.
• Oversee and monitor the technical training programs that are developed and implemented by the project implementation partner.
• Coordinate and support the planning and effective execution of project events.
• Maintaining hard and electronic filing system and databases
• Design, coordination and implementation of the monitoring and evaluation, and learning framework of the Project.
• Maintain and administer the M&E database; analyze, validate, and aggregate findings.
• Coordinate and support the End of Project Evaluation.
• Provide all administrative, communication and content support to the project manager.

 

• Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration or related field.
• At least two years’ experience in a technical training delivery role is essential.
• Experience in project monitoring frameworks
