The Health Care Accreditation Council, a non-profit organization based in Jordan, was established to drive continuous improvement of the quality and safety of health care facilities, services and programs, and to foster patient-centered care through the development of internationally accepted standards, capacity building and awarding accreditation, in partnership with local and regional stakeholders.

The Health Care Accreditation Council is seeking to recruit a qualified Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to undertake “Developing Clinical Guidelines and Pathways for Early Detection and Screening”, under a 5-month project in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and funded by Handicap International / Humanity & Inclusion (HI).

1- Subject Matter Expert (SME),

Cerebral palsy (CP)

The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be responsible for the design and development of Clinical Guidelines and Pathways for Cerebral palsy (CP) with practical engagement of consultative taskforce group of specialists to enrich review and validate the content.

· Orient the taskforce group of specialists on the expected process for developing the respective guidelines.

· Facilitate the discussions and compilation of information and feedback from the taskforce group of specialists’ meetings.

· Carry out literature review; run a complete best practice search on similar models worldwide; and, investigate in-depth existing national, regional and international strategies and related programs and laws that can inform the content development process.

· Benchmark the current situation in Jordan to best practices, identify relevant recommendations, compile documentation and propose a framework for the Guidelines to be used as the foundation for the content development of the respective Guidelines.

· Closely with the taskforce group of specialists finalize mapping out the flowchart of processes associated with the Cerebral palsy (CP).

· Consultant in medicine with at least 5 years of hands on experience in early detection and screening of Cerebral palsy (CP)

· Experience at a high level with standards related to early detection of CP.

· Experience or participation in national or regional initiatives related to disabilities.

· Well –versed in human rights and rights-based approach

· Interpersonal and communication skills

· Time management

· Excellent knowledge (written and spoken) of English.

· Facilitation skills

· Consensus skills

· Teamwork skills
