Surveyor Certification Course Announcement
The Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC) is looking for candidates to be trained to become certified surveyors for HCAC Hospital Accreditation Program. HCAC follows well-defined, internationally recognized system for surveyors’ recruitment and selection that support HCAC mission and values related to impartiality, and transparency, taking into consideration HCAC needs to fulfil surveyors’ skill matrix.
Qualification and Experience Requirements:
Based on HCAC surveyors needs, we are currently looking for experienced candidates who are qualified professional with at least Bachelor degree (higher qualification is preferred) as: (Physicians, or Infection Prevention and control practitioners, or safety and facility officers). Below is a detailed description of qualifications and experience requirements needed:

|
15 years of experience in hospital settings

Experience in management or senior position during the service is preferred
(e.g., Medical Director, or Hospital Administrator, physician heading a hospital department, Quality Improvement Manager)

- Knowledge of accreditation processes and health care systems in Jordan is a plus
- Good command of Arabic and English language both spoken and written
- Good computer skills including use of Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Be willing to commit and spend 9 full days in class over a 2-month periods (May-June 2023), observe a 3 days survey, conduct up to 3 days survey under supervision, and take a final Surveyor Certification Exam in order to be certified.

Infection Prevention and Control Practitioner

The opportunity is also extended to other healthcare professionals (i.e., pharmacists, nurses, laboratory technicians, etc.) have 15 years of experience in hospital settings, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial or senior position. Nevertheless, preference will be given to the recruitment of the specified professions mentioned earlier.
