Call for Applications – Subject Matter Experts/Trainers
The Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC) in collaboration and technical guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO), is implementing a project to strengthen the Ministry of Health’s (MoH) capacity to lead, implement, and sustain quality and patient safety improvements across primary health care facilities in Jordan through a comprehensive TOT program and technical support in quality and patient safety, leadership, mental health, and chronic respiratory disease management.
As part of the project activities, HCAC is seeking to recruit the services of multiple qualified Subject Matter Experts to work within seven core areas: 1) Leadership, Governance & Strategic Thinking, 2) Human Resources Management & Supportive Supervision, 3) Quality Improvement & Patient Safety, 4) Data Management, 5) Financial Management, 6) Emergency & Crisis Management, and 7) Supply & Support Services. As per the following requirements:
Main Duties:
- To Adapt the training outline to the scope of PHC level, with main focus on PHC framework and UHC principles within the Jordanian context. (As per area of expertise 1-7)
- To develop/adapt the training materials, trainer guide, exercises and training packages. (As per area of expertise 1-7)
- To conduct classroom training utilizing existing training tools and expertise within the specific area of expertise/training module (1-7).
- Participate in post-training coaching and supervision.
Required qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the core domain selected from (1-7).
- Proven experience in PHC services and demonstrated knowledge of Jordan health system.
- Established experience in developing training curriculums and packages.
- Demonstrated proficiency in training, capacity building. (ToT certification is preferred).
- Awareness of WHO PHC monitoring framework and other relevant international best practices.
- Proficiency in Arabic writing and proofreading.
