Opportunity to Become a Consultant for the Woman-Friendly Health Centers Program

The Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC), in collaboration with the National Woman’s Health Care Center (NWHCC) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), is inviting candidates to apply for training to become consultants for the Woman-Friendly Health Centers Program.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to an impactful initiative aimed at improving women’s health services.

HCAC follows well-defined, internationally recognized system for consultant’s recruitment and selection that support HCAC mission and values related to impartiality, and transparency, taking into consideration HCAC needs to fulfil consultant’s skill matrix.

Qualification and Experience Requirements:

  1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher in a health care-related field (advanced qualifications preferred).
  2. Experience:
    1. Minimum of 10 years in primary health care settings, with at least 5 years in a management or senior position (e.g., Center Director, Head Nurse, Quality Coordinator).
  3. Expertise: Experience or training in women’s health topics.
  4. Knowledge: Familiarity with accreditation processes and health care systems in Jordan is a plus.
  5. Language Skills: Proficiency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  6. Technical Skills: Competent in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  7. Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  8. Availability: Willing to commit to seven full days of training (theoretical and practical) between November and December 2024.
  9. Eligibility: Must not currently be an HCAC surveyor.
