Vacancy (CHN-2): Senior Quality Improvement Expert
As part of the USAID-funded Community Health and Nutrition Activity, which aims to enhance the nutritional status of children under two, as well as pregnant and lactating women in target areas, the project focuses on improving breastfeeding practices, introducing appropriate complementary foods at the right time, and promoting proper child spacing through postpartum family planning (FP) and modern contraceptive methods.
The Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC) is seeking a senior expert in quality improvement to carry out the following responsibilities:
Key responsibilities
- Manage HCAC’s engagement with USAID-funded project to improve child and maternal health outcomes.
- Design, develop, and implement recognition systems to improve maternal and child health services and nutritional status.
- Provide technical support by implementing quality improvement standards for maternal and child nutrition.
- Provide administrative leadership by managing project timelines, resources, and coordinating with stakeholders for smooth execution.
- Oversee additional programs, including Lactation Counselor training and the continuous professional development program, ensuring they meet international standards and support long-term health improvements.
Qualifications
- Advanced educational background in medicine, public health, RMNCH and/or quality systems
- No less than 10-15 years of experience in the field
- Preferred experience with USAID projects
- Preferred experience in Infant, Young, and Child Feeding, and Maternal health.
- Understanding and preferred experience in institutional recognition systems
