Vacancy - Media & Communications Officer

 

 The Health Care Accreditation Council is a not-for-profit organization based in Jordan, specialized in improving quality and safety in health care facilities, services and programs, and fostering patient-centered care through developing internationally accepted standards, developing, and implementing quality management systems, building the capacity of administrators and providers as well as awarding accreditation and monitoring compliance.

The Health Care Accreditation Council is looking for a Media & Communications Officer to design, develop and implement its communication strategy including media relations to promote the organization's mission, values, and services to a wide range of stakeholders. The successful candidate is expected to write and distribute content to promote HCAC’s brand, activities, and products, organize campaigns and events and liaison between the HCAC, the public, and the media. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years' relevant experience in a communications role.
  • Expertise in social media content and management
  • Preferable Knowledge of desktop publishing software (InDesign/Photoshop).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills in both Arabic (a must) and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems, and social media platforms.

  • Content creating and editing skills.
