HSQA-1: Data Collectors (multiple openings)

The Health Care Accreditation Council is a not-for-profit organization based in Jordan, specialized in improving quality and safety in health care facilities, services and programs, and fostering patient-centered care through developing internationally accepted standards, developing and implementing quality management systems, building the capacity of administrators and providers as well as awarding accreditation and monitoring compliance.

Under HSQA, a USAID funded project, HCAC is implementing a Patient Experience Program that aims to empower patients to voice their needs and concerns and address all interactions that patients have with the healthcare system, including their care from health plans, doctors, nurses, and staff in the facilities, as understanding patient experience is a key step in moving toward patient-centered care.

HCAC is seeking candidates for the position of Phone Data Collector. We have multiple openings for this role, and the Level of Effort (LOE) for each data collector at the beginning will range from 10 to 15 working days.

 

JOB SUMMARY

Phone Data Collectors are responsible for conducting surveys and collecting data over the phone. To gather information from respondents, ensure accuracy and data integrity. As a Phone Data Collector, you will utilize strong verbal communication and active listening skills to engage with respondents, follow survey scripts, and accurately record their responses.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in social work or any related field.
  2. Previous experience in data collection, particularly in conducting surveys, is preferred.
  3. Demonstrated adherence to ethical guidelines and cultural sensitivity, ensuring respect and consideration for respondents.
  4. Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills for effective phone-based communication with respondents.
  5. Strong attention to detail to ensure data integrity and minimize errors during data entry.
  6. Previous voluntary work experience with national or international NGOs is preferred.
