Job Vacancy- (HCAC-1) PR & Communication Officer
The Health Care Accreditation Council is looking for a PR & Communications Officer to design, develop and implement its communication strategy including media relations. The main duties and accountabilities are:
- Marketing and Communication Strategy: Support the creation and lead the implementation of PR and communication plans aligned with the organization's strategic goals for effective internal and external communication.
- Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with media personnel, manage the media list, and secure media coverage for HCAC.
- Content Creation: Draft news releases, advisories, statements, and success stories to gain media attention for HCAC’s work.
- Media Monitoring: Develop and disseminate a daily media monitoring report with relevant local and international content.
- Materials and Publications: Coordinate the production and distribution of online and printed materials to increase awareness about HCAC.
- Corporate Identity Management: Manage the HCAC style manual and corporate identity to ensure consistent communication.
- Identity and Collateral Development: Support the development of materials for major initiatives to align with HCAC’s corporate identity and enhance visibility.
- Website Management: Maintain and update the HCAC website, integrate it with campaigns, and develop web content.
- Social Media Management: Post, monitor, and maintain content on social media platforms to increase awareness and engagement.
- Event Coordination: Organize and coordinate HCAC’s participation in healthcare events in Jordan and the region to boost visibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' relevant experience in a communications role.
- Experience in social media content and management
- Knowledge of desktop publishing software (InDesign/Photoshop).
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills in both Arabic (a must) and English.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems, and social media platforms.
