The Health Care Accreditation Council is a not-for-profit organization based in Jordan, specialized in improving quality and safety in health care facilities, services and programs, and fostering patient-centered care through developing internationally accepted standards, developing and implementing quality management systems, building the capacity of administrators and providers as well as awarding accreditation and monitoring compliance.

The Health Care Accreditation Council has been implementing for the past 4 years a preparation for accreditation program in Al-Bashir hospitals under USAID funding. HCAC is now seeking qualified candidates to fill multiple positions for the remaining duration of the project.   1. Communications Officer

Within Al-Bashir hospitals and campus, the incumbent will be responsible for developing all communication plans and material and designing the communication activities and methods of dissemination for the dissemination of information regarding Al Bashir Hospitals quality improvement activities to raise the level of knowledge, buy-in and participation in the accreditation process. This will include the design, provision and follow-up of information road shows, awareness workshops and campaigns, public dissemination sessions, and the ensuant required materials, communication, and arrangements with the stakeholders, and the development of any related reports, Also, documenting events through photos and/or videos, and supporting write-ups on project accomplishments and milestones, significant events, success stories, and other similar materials to feature Project accomplishments.

  • University degree in Mass Communications or related fields.
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in relevant work experience, preferably in USAID-assisted projects. 
  • Good working experience on social media.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
