Subject Matter Experts Needed

The Health Care Accreditation Council is seeking to recruit the services of qualified Subject Matter Experts to work on Strengthening Access to Quality PHC for Syrian Refugees and Vulnerable Communities in Jordan. The project aims to establish primary care standards and conduct health facility gap assessments in Jordan. This project aims to foster a more resilient, effective, and safer healthcare environment across Jordan through evidence-based standards development, assessments, and capacity building.

• SME -Architecture/Design, Ref.: SME-AD01
• SME – Medical Equipment/Supplies, Ref.: SME-MES01.
• SME – Health Information Management, Ref.: SME-HIM01

Below are the SMEs needed, along with their responsibilities and qualifications:

1. SME - Architecture/Design/Civil
   • Reference: SME-ADC01
   • Responsibilities:
     1. Conduct literature reviews on PHC infrastructure and architecture.
     2. Interview technical committee members and stakeholders.
     3. Develop, draft, and refine criteria, standards, and minimum requirements.
     4. Perform field assessments and finalize the checklist.
   • Qualifications:
     1. Minimum 10 years of experience as a civil or architectural engineer in a healthcare setting.
     2. Relevant experience with NGOs preferred.
     3. Awareness of disability inclusion criteria.
     4. Expertise in healthcare architecture and infrastructure design.

2. SME – Medical Equipment/Supplies
   • Reference: SME-MES01
   • Responsibilities:
     1. Conduct literature reviews on PHC medical equipment and supplies.
     2. Develop and refine criteria, standards, and minimum requirements.
     3. Perform field assessments and finalize the checklist.
   • Qualifications:
     1. Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain of medical equipment in healthcare facilities or PHC.
     2. Relevant experience with NGOs is preferred.

3. SME – Health Information Management (Medical Records)
   • Reference: SME-HIM01
   • Responsibilities:
     1. Conduct literature reviews on PHC health information systems/Medical Records/papers.
     2. Develop and refine criteria, standards, and minimum requirements.
     3. Perform field assessments and finalize the checklist.
   • Qualifications:
     1. Minimum 10 years of experience in health information management and IT systems for health.
     2. Relevant experience with NGOs preferred.
