The CEO of the Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC), Ms. Salma Jaouni, attended the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) Board meetings in Dublin to discuss strategic priorities related to governance, growth, and advancing global impact in healthcare.
Ms. Jaouni also represented HCAC at the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Research Symposium on 2 March 2026, delivering a presentation titled “Role and Effectiveness of Accreditation Programmes in the Digital Health Era” during the session “Ensuring High Quality Healthcare & Learning Systems in the Age of Digital Health.” Her presentation highlighted the importance of accreditation in enhancing healthcare quality and patient safety amidst the rapid digital transformation.
The event brought together over 100 participants, including researchers, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and international experts, to share experiences and discuss current trends and future directions in quality improvement and patient safety, supporting the development of more efficient and sustainable healthcare systems.
