The Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC) invites local firms/Hotels to participate in the competitive solicitation for holding the closing ceremony of Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative/ UNICEF project.

The Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC) is a not-for-profit organization based in Jordan, established to drive the continuous improvement of the quality and safety of health care facilities, services and programs, and foster patient-centered care through developing internationally accepted standards, capacity building and awarding accreditation in partnership with local and regional stakeholders.

The BFHI projects goal is to improve breastfeeding practices in Jordan and to assist hospitals in implementing the ten steps to successful breastfeeding. The BFHI aims to give mothers and babies a good start when it comes to breastfeeding by increasing the likelihood that babies will be breastfed exclusively for the first six months and then offering appropriate complementary foods while breastfeeding continues for two years or longer. As a result, the hospital, mother, baby, and country all benefit from increased cost effectiveness.

Requirements:
• Type of Event: Ceremony
• When: one day during (21-30) August, 2022
• Time: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Meals: welcome coffee and tea, and a rich coffee break at the end of the ceremony
• Number of Participants: around 300.
• Welcoming room (VIP) from 9:30 to 10:30 am
• Have own parking space for at least 150 persons.
• Internet connection -high speed.
• support equipment and materials (microphones (Sound System), LCD projector and large screen.
For the purpose of planning, managing, and holding the closing ceremony, The Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC) is soliciting quotations from the hotels or events where it will be hosted.
