HCAC is seeking to recruit experts in looking for qualified candidates to the implementation of Certified Lactation Counsellor Training Program aiming to build the capacity of healthcare workers interested in this field. The incumbent will assist in successful conduction of the practicum training phase. S/he will oversee coaching and supervising training for all levels of healthcare staff in gaining skills required to carry out lactation counseling in a high-quality manner.

Scope of work:

• To conduct coaching and supervision visits to the lactation counselor certification program trainees during the practicum training using the developed supervisory tools.

• Submit competency assessment and final evaluation foe each assigned trainee.

• Submit relevant program reports.

Qualifications:

An International Board of Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) holder or undergoing certification and/or at least five years’ experience in the field of lactation counseling.
